About OMERACT: OMERACT stands for Outcome Measures in Rheumatology. It is an informal international network of working groups and gatherings interested in outcome measurement across the spectrum of rheumatology intervention studies.

OMERACT has a 5 member Executive Committee with members from three continents and a 25 member Steering Group composed of international opinion leaders from nine countries.

The Patient Liaison Group co-ordinates the participation of patients in the OMERACT Working Groups. OMERACT highly encourages the input of patient perspectives into all research groups.

OMERACT holds Consensus Conferences every 2 years in various parts of the world. OMERACT 10 will be held on a tropical island resort in Malaysia, just one hour from major airport hubs in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Kuala Lumpur. Mark your calendars for 4 - 8 May 2010!

OMERACT publishes the proceedings from each conference in the Journal of Rheumatology. Over 200 articles have been published incorporating the OMERACT Filter. A full list of publications can be found here.
